Favorite Band: I'd have to say Blindside (from Sweden).
Favorite Author: Ted Dekker & James Rubart.
Hobbies: dating my wife, playing music, hunting/trapping, playing zelda, hanging with family, reading, stargate.

A Life Dream:  I have two - open a super large youth center and to finish writing my book and get it published.

If you could go anywheres where would it be?:  I think I'd want to check out Area 51 - you know, see what all the top secret stuff is all about.

Favorite Bible Verse: Have many but a good one is Psalm 31:24 - grab your bible and check it out.

Favorite thing about being a part of Crosspoint:   I have always had a passion for ministry and reaching out to those who are in need.  I have done ministry a lot but mainly on a total volunteer basis.  However, working for Crosspoint means this is my full-time deal!  I get to share Jesus with people as my job!  I think that is awesome!

New Campus Ministry Director

Meet Josh, our new campus ministry director!

Meet Josh, our new campus ministry director!  We're excited to welcome him to Crosspoint and excited for you all to meet him.  Rather than us tell you about him, we'll let him talk about himself.

Hey everyone!  I am super excited to be joining Crosspoint and excited to see what God is going to do at Wayne State College.  I currently reside in Randolph, NE but grew up in the buzzing metropolis of Allen, NE (it's actually super tiny).  I graduated as valedictorian in 2008 and have been working hard at ministry as the director of Cross Rock Ministries ever since I was 15 years old.  After graduating, I took a short internship at a church in Louisville, KY before I took criminal justice classes at northeast community college in Norfolk, NE.

So what did I do before Crosspoint?  Well my wife and I lived in a little white van since August of 2012.  We traveled the country doing school assemblies while we worked for Camfel Productions based out of Los Angeles, CA.  If you want to see all our pictures, where we toured, and some of our videos from our journey across the country then check out our website www.jbsievers.com.  In the past, I also worked as the outreach coordinator for Haven House in Wayne.  In case there are times when I'm not at Crosspoint it's most likely because I also currently work as the manager of Micah's Closet and the director of the mobile food pantry in Wayne!  They like to keep me busy.

In case you're wondering who that beautiful lady is in that picture, that's my wife of 3 years, Brittany!  You'll probably get to see her around quite a bit as well.  She grew up in Randolph on a pig farm.  Marrying her was definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made :)

We look forward to getting to know all of the students that become a part of Crosspoint and look forward to digging into the bible with you!
